Tree&Scrub Clearing Working Party

The mornings are crisp & clear and there is a nip to air!

This is the time of year when we run a number of days for clearing trees and scrub from around the lake and the island.

This is your chance to remove that irritating bush/tree that really messes with your sailing!

We'll be running working parties on the following days.

• Saturday 7th October - 11AM
  
• Saturday 14th October - 11AM
  
• Saturday 21st October - 11AM

We will be clearing trees etc on these days and 'boating' the logs/branches to the fire area ready for bonfire night. It's good fun, good exercise and (I have to admit) one of my favourite activities of the year!

If you are interested we need all the help we can get! Please wear strong shoes, trousers and thick gloves. Don't forget that buoyancy aid and if you have any 'chop chop' type implements please bring them along!
