Join us again for another brilliant week of fun and sailing. We begin at 4.00pm on Sunday 10th August and then it's all hands on deck until our closing presentation at 3pm Friday 15th August. The children sleep in the club house and will be allocated into their Teams on the Sunday evening. Each day the teams will be allocated various housekeeping and boat preparation duties and they will sail morning and afternoon.
We follow the RYA curriculum but the main emphasis of the week is on FUN and EXCITEMENT. Throughout the week the children will be well supervised by a dedicated team of Volunteers who will instruct and look after the children.
We have various evening activities including taking part in the club's normal Wednesday Evening Racing
and finishing with a disco on the Thursday evening.
This years theme is "
I'm a celebrity get me out of here" and there will definitely be a "bush tucker trial" for each of the teams. I can't wait.
Now Parents - what do we need from you?
If you fancy joining and helping see Linzi - we always need helpers and the adults have just as much fun as the kids. What we really need is help on the Thursday evening beforehand and the Sunday morning to get the club house ready. And if you can help out on the Friday afternoon from 12.00 noon to help put things back to normal then that would be FAB.
If you have any special talents you could teach the children then please let us know.
