Here at Otley Sailing Club we run several adult and youth/junior sailing courses.

The RYA National Sailing Scheme is designed for adults (over 16 years) and we offer the following courses:

•          Level 1 – Start Sailing
•          Level 2 – Basic Skills
•          Seamanship Skills

We also offer the following courses to our younger members:

•          RYA Youth Sailing Scheme Stages 1 & 2
•          RYA Youth Sailing Scheme Stages 3 & 4
•          RYA Seamanship Skills
•          RYA Start Racing
•          Race Development including RYA Club Racing
•          RYA Sailing with spinnakers

For Youth/Junior sailors, a Stage 1 & 2 course for beginners in run at the start of the season, usually over the Easter Holidays, with other courses, depending on demand, run as part of the Thursday Junior Sailing Club. For more information please go to our Juniors page.

Four Adult Level 1 & 2 courses are usually run each year and these are open to both members and non-members. Each course runs over 2 Thursday evenings and 2 weekends, for more information please see our spring course or follow one of the other course links below.
