Otley Sailing Club Crowdfunder

Grand Prize Draw  November – December 2024.

  1. Otley Sailing Club  affiliated to the RYA and a  Sailability Centre of Excellence is the promoter of this Prize Draw,  Otley Sailing Club, Bridge End Quarry,  Otley LS21 2SU

 

Registered Charity Number: 1160253

 

  1. The sale, by reward, of entries to the Prize Draw shall commence 21.00 PM  3rd November 2024 and entries shall be concluded by 11.30 AM on 11th December 2024 .

 

  1. The Prize Draw shall taking place  between 19.00 PM  and  22.00 PM on 11th December 2024.

 

  1. Prize Draw entries will be available as a REWARD to purchase on Crowdfunder at the price of £2.00 per entry.  Free entry is available by email  sailingforall@otley-sailingclub.co.uk .

 

 

  1.  Please note when entering that all prizes will be drawn and Winners recorded in a list order on 11 December 2024 at an evening community event held in Otley, West Yorkshire. The draw will take the form of a random number generator of entries ( one entry one chance) and announced at that event by  22.00pm. Prizes will be announced with names at that event ( Winner/ Winners) and prizes  MUST be selected and collected at that event. If not attending, a prize will be allocated to the Winner from the remaining gifts in list order . Gifts not collected that evening may be collected on one of two opportunities (from a venue to be advised in Otley West Yorkshire) by 20 December 2024 and if not,  will be redrawn by the same method and allocated by list order.   

 

  1. Prizes are advertised on the Otley Sailing club website and list of prizes is subject to change (additional prizes added only) before the draw date so please check back for the latest list.

 

  1. No substitutes of Prizes are available, nor can prizes be swapped. Some gifts are of time limited use.  

 

  1. The draw will be made for the full prize list advertised  regardless of whether the campaign’s final target is met.

 

  1. Maximum 20 entries may be made per entrant by any means, paid or by the free entry means.

 

  1. By entering you consent to use of your name and contact data (emails and, if provided, phone and / or postal address) in connection with the Prize Draw and being advised of and collecting the prize.  Winners will be notified, once,  by 15th December 2024 by the email details given on Crowdfunder when entering. The organisers have no responsibility to contact more than once if an email or voicemail is left.

 

  1. Prizes awarded to Winners cannot be transferred to another person by the organisers ( some donating companies may agree on request of the Winner).  

 

  1. Any prizes not claimed and collected from the organisers in person by the Winner or a representative of the Winner,  advised in writing, by 30th December 2024 will be re- drawn for another Winner to receive.

 

  1. The  Commodore of Otley Sailing Club’s will determine in his sole discretion, any queries or complaint on prizes or process, and that decision  shall be  final.

 

  1. Your data is important to us.  See the Otley Sailing Club privacy notice on its website. Any data obtained by Otley Sailing Club in connection with the Prize Draw shall be held in accordance with Otley Sailing Club’s Data Privacy Policies, and privacy notices, as if the entrant were a member. All data gathered in connection with the Prize Draw shall be deleted on 31 December 2024.

 

  1. Prizes drawn have all been donated to the campaign. Goods and services are subject to the terms and conditions of the donor companies . Where a Service is the prize, Winners are advised to contact the prize donor soon after winning to obtain those terms as it will not be possible for Otley Sailing Club to deal with queries or have any liability in connection with the prizes awarded. .

 

  1. All proceeds are for the Otley Sailing Club Disabled Sailing for all crowdfunder ending 31 December 2024 and proceeds  ( minus Crowdfunder’s platform fees) will be fully used for those specified purposes .
